Visit to DisneySea part 2 img hvy

I kind of wanted to write something different today, but I couldn't come up with any good ideas, so I am just going to continue my write up of Tokyo DisneySea. First I want to mention that my 225+ Follower Giveaway is closing tomorrow, so please go enter before its over! I promise I will hold another giveaway after I get back from Tokyo, and it should be pretty cool^^

Anyhow, after the Tower of Terror (Which I don't find scary at all, I've gotten pretty good with thrill rides when I grew up haha!) I walked through the American Waterfront and Port Discovery areas, without taking many photos. I guess that gives me a good reason to go back. I spent more time looking at things rather than photographing like I should have.

From Japan Trip 4

The American Waterfront area does remind me of old-timey American towns, and the cape cod section looked quite like the touristy places of the North-East. The above photo is a panoramic shot I made of the American Waterfront, check it out full size and please excuse the poor blending haha.

In the Port Discovery Area, which looks a bit futuristic color steam-punk, I rode 2 of the rides available. The Aquatopia ride was cute as you go spinning around a shallow pool, and would be fun on a hot day. And the StormRider was one of those moving theater with a video screen ride.

Raging Spirits roller coaster

Some people getting their photo taken with Minnie in the Lost River Delta. Note the lack of kids haha

The Lost River Delta area was next, and I walked through it rather quickly. Since the Indiana Jones ride was closed it was a bit disappointing but I could ride Raging Spirits, a nice little rollercoaster. They were really proud of the fact it had a 360 loop, but to me it was really small and short haha. Luckily the line was not too long, I perhaps should have gone a second time XD

Next it was the Arabian Coast, and that was one of my most favorite areas. I just love the movie Aladdin, and the architecture of this area was so beautiful. I almost felt I was walking around in Agrabah except for the cold January wind.

The Arabian Coast. Am I really still in Tokyo?

It almost looks warm hehe

First I went on Sindbad's Story Book Voyage, I had never really seen a Sindbad Disney cartoon, but I guess it must exist. The ride is along the lines of the Small World ride, with dancing puppets and a obnoixiously catchy song played throughout. But it also had some neat effects like a room that smelled like bananas, and another that was particularly hot.

Beautiful scenery details

Next I got in line to watch the Magic Lamp Theater. It was a 3D show with Genie and some live actors. At first that get in a room and listen to a snake puppet explain the backstory of the plot, and before it stated I thought the snake was Ca from The Jungle Book and even boldly announced it to my friend. Then the snake said his name was Bagita (or something) and I felt nerdy haha.

I tried really hard to keep everyone's heads out of this shot haha

Ah so pretty~ Inside that dome is a carousel

There was also some game you could play in which you could win a Stitch doll dressed in Arabian clothing. Being that it was a game of skill it was doubtful I could have won, but now I wish I would have gotten closer to see what it was all about.

Well I will save my favorite area, and some show photos for the last entry. Yes, I have photos from Mermaid Lagoon. Please look forward to reading it!
