What is your style, and how long have you been interested in fashion?
I like many different styles of Japanese fashion like lolita, gyaru, mori kei, etc etc so I tend to dress up in whatever style I feel like wearing on that day. *laughs* I've been interested in Japanese fashion for about... 6 years I guess?
How did you discover your style?
I've always been a very feminine girl at heart and I'd dress up in mainly dresses and skirts ever since I was a child. I was also obsessed with anime so one day while I was browsing through a comic magazine they had a feature on the lolita fashion and I fell in love with it. However, I didn't really get into it until the end of my 14th year when I discovered a shop selling lolita dresses in a mall. However, to look back at it now, the lolita dresses that were sold in that shop then were all very ita. xD *embarrassed*When do you dress in your style?
I wish I could dress in lolita always, but due to the hot weather in my country all year round and the fact that we have to wear many layers in lolita that would probably give me a heatstroke; I choose to wear simpler, lighter dresses and skirts most of the time like gyaru and high street style, though with less make-up.
Do you like to follow fashion rules, or create your own?
Sometimes I think that it's really important to follow fashion rules, like how we have to wear petticoats to give our skirts a "poof" in lolita, etc etc but sometimes I like to try new things and mix and match different types of fashion together.Do you have one item (clothing, accessory, cosmetic) that is your signature?
Not entirely... But I do have an addiction for head accessories. I don't feel like my outfit is complete unless I put something on my head. Haha.
What do you think is important about fashion?
I think the most important thing is to have fun and feel good about yourself. Even if people don't agree with what you wear, as long as you feel happy about it that's all that really matters. :)If you would like to be featured as a Fashion Hime on an upcoming Friday, please click on the button below to be taken to the sign up page!
